PANAJI: Alleging that BJP Govt failed to manage the State finance, thus the exchequer become empty, the president of Goa Forward Party Vijai Sardsai has appealed the people of Goa to support Congress and GFP alliance to form government, so the Goa can be brought back on the track.
Sardesai, whilst addressing GFP workers meeting at Mayem, said that Santosh Kumar Sawant will win by 5000 votes from Mayem. Sawant along with Vikas Bhagat and others were present on the occasion.
Fatorda MLA Sardesai alleged that BJP is looting people of Goa in every sector, be it selling of jobs or inflation. “Now BJP has made it mandatory for youths, seeking government jobs, to attend their election campaign meetings.” He said.
“This government has failed even to release funds for welfare schemes. It is borrowing loan to pay salaries. It has mismanaged the finance.” Sardesai said.
“To send corrupt BJP home, we have joined hands with Congress. For this we need support from people.” He said.
He also added that a leader from the Congress party will become Chief Minister.
Vijai also said that BJP knows that it will get defeated in the assembly election, and hence to divide votes of Goans it has brought AAP and TMC in Goa.
Santosh Kumar Sawant lambasted the BJP government for neglecting development in Mayem. “It has done nothing for the people of Mayem. Lot of things can be done here, but nothing has been done.” He said. We will take mayem forward in true sense said Sawant.
