Panaji: BJP Goa Chief Sadanand Shet Tanavade has been continuing drawing flak for his statement supporting Roy Ravi Naik during his induction in the party.
The latest in the series to question Tanavade is party’s senior leader and former WRD Minister Dayanand Mandrekar.
Mandrekar has urged Tanavade to clarify which Roy Naik was referred by BJP on the floor of the House, if it was not “Roy Ravi Naik.”
“I was a party MLA when issue of Roy Naik was raised on the floor of the House. If Sadanand Tanavade feels that BJP had not made allegations against Roy Ravi Naik on the floor of the House, during that time, than he should also clarify, which Roy Naik we were talking about. The truth will surface some or other day,” Mandrekar told a vernacular daily.
In yet another instance of slamming, Shefali Vaidya tweeted “I am a @BJP4India supporter, but the Goa unit of the party is an absolute joke. @JPNadda please get better people otherwise the people of Goa will wipe the floor with the party!”
