Porvorim: Independent MLA Rohan Khaunte on Wednesday sought intervention of Governor Satya Pal Malik and Health Minister Vishwajit Rane to control COVID-19 crisis in the state and also address the issue of suppression of the factual data.
Khaunte has addressed two different letters to Governor and the Health Minister, which are released by him to the public through his twitter account.
The Independent MLA has accused Chief Minister Pramod Sawant of the current COVID-19 crisis, which has been aggrevating in the state.
“Goa CM has been mercilessly murdering the democracy in our state and his utter disdain towards the people of he is accountable is extremely shameful for the chair he sits on,” Khaunte tweeted while releasing the letter written to the Governor.
“I am constrainted to write again to Honourable Governor of Goa requesting his intervention to save Goa and Goans from the pandemic and the magalomaniac of a CM Goa has been cursed with.”
In yet another tweet in which he has released the letter written to the Health Minister, Khaunte wrote “Coronavirus management in Goa is beyond the capability of @goacm. We cannot sit and watch the dance of death of innocent Goans because of incompetence of our administration anymore.”
“Thousands of goan’s lives are at risk because of voluntary mismanagement of data related to COVID-19, I have formally written to Health Minister @visrane requesting clarity on figures of COVID019 cases.”
