Porvorim: Independent MLA Rohan Khaunte has written a letter to Chief minister Pramod Sawant raising concerns over teaching and non-teaching staff being asked to resume the work.
Khaunte wrote on social media “I have written to Dr. Pramod Sawant about my concerns with Circular that orders teaching & non-teaching staff to unnecesarily resume work, violating MHA Guidelines as well as risking lives of teachers and other administrative workers.”
“With coronovirus cases breaking daily records in Goa, we must absolutely abstain from such irrational decisions.”
“The State must embrace e-learning and the govt must provide resources and infrastructure to every student & teacher to ensure learning equity for all.”
“I request CMO Goa to handle this issue with sensitivity and empathy instead of looking at political benefit from a pandemic.”
