Panaji: While their zeal to continue the protests go unabated, the Mining Dependent People’s Front have decided not to have dharna at Azad Maidan on June 17 and hold protests outside Azad Maidan on June 18 to let the State government prepared to celebrate June 18.
A senior Goa Mining People’s Front member said that they will not have dharna on June 17 and will have protest near a footpath at Ferry Point on June 18.
“We don’t want to disturb state government’s function on June 18. If invited we will be happy to participate in it,” he said showing the real sense of patriotism.
www.goanewshub.com salutes the spirit of mining dependents who have been peacefully protesting at five places in the State pressing for their demand. The protests at other places, however, would continue for both the days.
