Transport services will be reduced to the bare minimum level, and all destinations will be connected by public bus services through an arranged skeleton service. The operation will be strictly monitored by the Motor vehicle Inspector/ Asstt. Motor Vehicle Inspector who is assigned duties and posted at the bus stand is also authorized on behalf of the RTA to propose schedule for next day in respect of private buses operating the routes.
Official of KTCL posted at the bus stand and bestowed with the responsibility of finalizing the route schedules will co-ordinate with the Motor Vehicle Inspector/ Asstt. Motor Vehicle Inspector of the Directorate of Transport.
Care will have to be taken to ensure that overcrowding of passengers does not take place in view of the advisory of social distancing and the bus drivers and conductors will compulsorily adhere to the advisory issued by the Ministry of Health, Government of Goa. They will wear face masks and use sanitizers to sanitize the hands of the general public while getting into their buses.
Daily disinfection of the buses will be carried out until such time the Government reviews the situation. The Order is effective from 00.00 hrs of 23/03/2020 up to 24.00 hr of 31/03/2020.
