New Delhi, June 26, 2025: The Ministry of Education, Government of India, has invited self-nominations from school teachers across the country for the prestigious National Awards to Teachers–2025. This initiative aims to recognize and honor the outstanding contributions of teachers in the field of school education.
The registration process is open online via the official web portal: http://nationalawardstoteachers.education.gov.in. Teachers from government and aided schools are encouraged to apply.
According to the Ministry, the registration period runs from June 23 to July 13, 2025, while the last date for final submission of self-nominations is July 15, 2025.
All heads of government and aided schools have been directed to inform their teaching staff about the open call, ensuring that deserving educators have the opportunity to participate in this national recognition process.
The National Awards to Teachers, presented annually by the President of India, aim to celebrate the dedication, innovation, and impact of school teachers in shaping the future of the nation.
