Panaji:Raviraj Saratape I.I.S took charge as the Deputy Director, Regional News Unit, Doordarshan Kendra, Panaji on 2nd July 2018. He is an officer of the Indian Information service, 2012 batch.
Prior to this posting, he was working with the Press Information Bureau Delhi as the spokesperson for Ministry of Science and Technology and Ministry of Earth Sciences. He also worked with DD News, New Delhi from June 2016 to February 2018.
His formal education is B.E. Mechanical from Walchand College of Engineering Sangli, Maharashtra and he worked in software company for 2 years after graduation.
