Panaji: Crime Branch on Tuesday arrested co-organiser of Sunburn Klassique, Shailesh Shetty under stringent anti-narcotics act in connection with the rave party that was busted on August 15 night at Vagator village in North Goa.
Superintendent of Police (Crime Branch) Shobhit Saxena told PTI that Shetty has been arrested under Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
The Crime Branch have already arrested four people including actor Kapil Jhaveri and three other foreigner women under NDPS act after busting the rave party at Vagator.
Shetty is a co-organiser of Sunburn Klassique, an EDM which is held annually in Goa in the month of December.
Saxena said that the Crime Branch is investigating the case, and further arrests would be made depending on the statement of accused and the probe.
Crime Branch had busted drug laced party on August 15 night at Vagator where they had seized narcotics.
Of the total 23 people arrested then, four were booked under NDPS Act while rest were booked for violating social distancing norms. The party was organised in a villa, owned by Jhaveri.
