Panaji: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane will tomorrow chair crucial meeting of various departments for proper coordination to tackle the dengue menace.
State till date has recorded 1,468 suspected dengue cases in nine months. There have also been four deaths so far.
Rane, through a video message, has informed about the meeting which is been held to bring required coordination amongst the department of health, panchayat and municipal administration.
“I would also request all the elected representatives MLAs, sarpanch, councilors, to create required awareness in their area. The health department will provide all the required support,” he said informing that he along with Chief Minister Pramod Sawant are monitoring the situation.
