Panaji: Amidst news about banning public entry into Raj Bhavan for six months, the office of Raj Bhavan has decided to keep the venue open for ‘Raj Bhavan Darshan’ for the visitors subject to prior booking and police verification.
“Raj Bhavan Darshan’ is reviewed along with SP (Security) and in view of request from various quarters, it is decided to open the ‘Raj Bhavan Darshan’ for visitors,” a press release by Secretary to Governor Rupesh Kumar Thakur reads.
As per the existing practice, visitors will have to make online booking to visit Raj Bhavan at its official website and register at least two day prior to the visit.
The entry will be subject to police verification and frisking at the main gate of the Raj Bhavan.
