Porvorim: AAP MLA Cruz Silva told the House that government should restrict the modified two and four wheelers and punish the violators with heavy fine.
Raising the issue on Wednesday, Silva said there is fear and anxiety in the minds of general public over increasing misuse and resulting nuisance and threat to life due to modified two and four wheeler vehicles which are running on the roads without any proper certification of such modifications by competent authorities resulting in loss of control and causing accident thereby threatening the life of the general public.
“The steps government would take to restrict use of such vehicles and punish those with heavy fine and other strong measures to deter adoption and misuse of such vehicles.”
