Panaji: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant on Thursday attended the NDA Chief Ministers’ Council meeting in Chandigarh, which was chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Goa Chief Minister’s Office, in a media statement released on Friday, said that the meeting deliberated on advancing good governance and ensuring the efficient delivery of public services.
The CMO stated that the meeting reaffirmed the NDA’s commitment to the vision of a Viksit Bharat by 2047. HCM expressed certainty that Goa will play a crucial role in this national journey.
The release mentioned that Goa’s unique strengths in tourism, culture, industry, and innovation position it as a key contributor to India’s growth story.
The CMO added that Sawant reiterated to the council that the Goa Government is dedicated to working towards an Atmanirbhar Bharat, promoting self-reliance, sustainability, and prosperity for all.
