Panaji: The Covid-19 positivity rate in the state is gradually decreasing but it is not plummeting the way, it should have dome a week after the curfew.
The state on Sunday recorded 33 per cent positivity, which is a welcome signal considering that it was 51 per cent a week back.
43 people died on Sunday taking the total death toll to 2099.
Total 1314 new people were found infected with covid-19 on Sunday out of the 3877 samples that were tested.
210 new patients were admitted in different hospitals while 149 were discharged. The total people who were recovered on Sunday were 3793, which is more than the new infection, due to which the active cases in the state came down to 28252.
