Porvorim: The over-enthusiastic BJP workers at Succoro Panchayat in Porvorim Assembly constituency seems to have crossed all the lines to brand its own party during central government paid Tika Utsav 3.0 program.
While the latest edition of Tika Utsav was held without any political branding in majority of the places, the BJP workers in Succoro seems to be out of the sync.
The huge boards put up across the vaccination camp stating “I am Vaccinated” had BJP symbol prominently displayed. This is despite the fact that Tika Utsav is a centrally sponsored program, which is hosted by State government.
What was striking is that the usual sight of Chief Minister’s picture was absent from the hoardings.
A special selfie booth was also created with BJP symbol behind so that every clic can be a branding of the political party.
The constituency is represented by Independent MLA Rohan Khaunte.
Interestingly, such hoardings were missing in majority of the places after opposition parties objected to it. At Fatorda camp, the hoarding did not had BJP symbol while it remain politically neutral.
