Panaji: Anti-CAA leader Ramakrishna Jalmi has been accused of insulting religious sentiments through his speech during a rally at Benaulim on Saturday.
While Colva police have received one complaint against him, the news of several other complaints being filed across the state are surfacing.
Journalist Gaurang Prabhu Malkarnekar, in a complaint filed at Colva Police station, has accused Jalmi of insulting religious sentiments.
The complaint is filed under section 153 of Indian Penal Code for utterances which can incite communal discord in the state.
In a video that is circulated along with the complaint, Jalmi is seen calling Lord Parshuram as terrorist and rapist.
