Margao: South Goa Advocates’ Association members met Advocate Gajanan Sawant at Goa Medical College and Hospital to extend their support to him.
The Association has condemned the brutal attack on their fellow colleague Adv Gajanan Sawant who was at the relevant time performing his Professional duty as Advocate.
The South Goa Advocates Association proposes to demand an independent probe in the present matter as the same has created unrest and uncertainty within the legal fraternity. The police being accused of the crime cannot be expected to conduct an impartial investigation. The South Goa Advocates Association has convened an emergency meeting tomorrow, Sat 10th Dec 2022, at 10 am, at the Bar Room situated in the District Court Building, Margao, to condemn the assault on our colleague Adv Gajanan Sawant by the police and plan the future course of action. All members are requested to attend.
