Panaji: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday will virtually address the gathering in Goa during the Rojgar Mela organised by the state government to hand over 1250 appointment letters in various departments, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said.
Sawant told reporters in Panaji on Wednesday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually address the gathering during the function scheduled to be held at Darbar Hall of Raj Bhavan, Dona Paula, near Panaji at 10.30 am.
The chief minister said that the appointment letters in the Police, Fire and Emergency Services, Planning and Statistics and Agriculture would be handed to the selected youth.
A senior official from the state government said that the PM will address the gathering for around 20 minutes.
He said that the event is a part of Rojgar Mela that is organised by the state government.
