Panaji: The Prime Minister Narendra Modi must make a public statement on his assurance of protecting Goa’s interest on Mhadei  and resumption of Mining in Goa, as claimed by Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant after his meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi demanded GPCC President Girish Chodankar.

This is another jumla to woo voters for the forthcoming Zilla Parishad elections. The art of fooling people is mastered by the BJP, and the visit of the Chief Minister to Delhi is part of the same. Chodankar claimed that in his meeting with PM, mhadei and mining issues were never discussed as mischievously disclosed by CM.

The Chief Minister actually went to beg with the Prime Minister to allow him to continue in his Chair after the Zilla Parishad election results are out. Dr. Pramod Sawant and the BJP have realised about their imminent defeat in the ZP elections.

The government has completely failed in resolving issues pertaining to the State of Goa. The Chief Minister has succumbed to the pressures of central leaders of BJP to sell our lifeline Mother Mhadei to Karnataka. The Government has time and again fooled the people with false assurances of resumption of Mining.

The central government has completely betrayed Goa on various issues. We demand that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi should make public statement with categorical information on what he has promised to the Chief Minister of Goa in the interest of the State. PM can use his  tweeter handle to make the statement as he avoids to speak to media.

The local BJP government has completely failed in maintaining law and order in the state. The drug trade is on the rise. After, four tigers were killed now there is a incident of a person loosing his life due to governments incompetence to protect forests. The incidence of kidnapping and rape on a minor school girl has set alarm bells about collapse of law and order in Goa. Government insensitivity has resulted in killing of innocents in road accidents.
