Panaji: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually inaugurate the upcoming edition of India Energy Week 2026, which is scheduled to be held in South Goa from January 27 to 30, 2026.
Addressing a press conference in Panaji, Gurmeet Singh, Director General of the Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry, said that the Prime Minister will virtually inaugurate India Energy Week 2026, returning to Goa for its fourth edition from January 27 to 30, 2026.
Hardeep Singh Puri, Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Dr Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology of the United Arab Emirates, Tim Hodgson, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Canada, along with senior ministers from Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, and the Global South, will be attending the inauguration at Betul village in South Goa.
Singh said that the Prime Minister will virtually address the delegates after the inauguration.
He said that the India Energy Week will focus on strengthening energy security, mobilising investment, and advancing practical, scalable pathways for decarbonisation that can be adapted across economies at different stages of growth.
The event will have delegations from the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific, underlining India Energy Week’s growing role in global energy diplomacy.
He said that India Energy Week 2026 is expected to welcome over 75,000 energy professionals from more than 120 countries.
The 2025 edition attracted over 68,000 participants, 570 exhibitors, 5,400 conference delegates, and hosted 100 conference sessions featuring 540 global speakers.
Singh said that the India Energy Week 2026 edition will expand further, reinforcing its role among the world’s most influential energy dialogue platforms.
The organiser said that through its strategic and technical conferences, the global energy conclave will provide a structured platform for dialogue, policy alignment, and technical exchange. Together, the conferences are designed to support informed decision-making and accelerate the delivery of practical, scalable energy solutions, he said.
Singh added that the event will feature ministerial roundtables, CEO dialogues on global capital flows, public-private dialogues, technology showcases from multinationals, national energy companies and high-growth startups, social events, and media engagements.
