Panaji: MGP President Dipak Dhavalikar today took jibe at Art and Culture Minister Govind Gaude over his statement claiming Sudin to be an inefficient minister.
“People know who is efficient and who is inefficient. The cabinet colleagues should not pass comments on each other but should work together,” Dhavalikar said reacting to the statement of Gaude.
“It is for the people to decide efficiency of the minister and not the fellow cabinet colleague,” he said.
Dhavalikar adviced Gaude to respect the position which he has been given in the cabinet and work for the people rather than blabbering against own colleague.
Earlier this morning, Gaude had asked Sudin to step down as the PWD minister for failing to handle the department.
Gaude had also adviced Sudin to take rest at home as he is ageing.
“Sudin Dhavalikar has been the PWD minister for last several years. If he can’t handle the department, then he should resign and pave way for the efficient people who can handle that portfolio,” Gaude had said.
He added “If he is getting older than should take rest at home.”
