Panaji: Power Minister Nilesh Cabral today said that the power connection of the defaulting consumers, who fail the pay their pending dues by March 2020, would be disconnected.
He said that the amount to be recovered as on date is around Rs 382 crores.
“My target is that by March 2020, every defaulter has to pay the pending dues or we will disconnect their connections. But I am confident that all the arrears would be paid,” Minister said.
Cabral said that whoever consumes power has to make the payment, which government intern pays to purchase the required power supply to the State.
