Panaji: The common minimum program designed by Manohar Parrikar-led government would be implemented in toto, with the ground work for the same being completed till now, Goa Forward party has said.
Party’s Vice President Dilip Prabhudesai said that the party during its state executive meeting reviewed the progress of common minimum program.
“All the three ministers were present for the meeting. We were happy over the progress of CMP and the way our ministers are working,” he said.
“All the ground work has been done as far as CMP implementation is concerned. We will now see the results of CMP implementation,” he added.
“The reclassification of coconut was one of the plank and we have achieved it within 8 months of formation of government. Party is confident that all points of CMP will be implemented in the days to come,” Sardesai said.
He said that during the meeting, the party also discussed the issue of agriculture. The party is fully backing agriculture ministers in his mission to encourage agriculture .
“The minister has given thrust on zero budget natural farming. It is a concept of zero cost without the inputs of pesticides and fertilizers. It was also appreciated that the minister during the meeting in Navelim said that agriculture should become common minimum program of Goans. We will see that agriculture is a main plank of Goa Forward party,” he added.
