Panaji: In an unprecedented show of unity, 2564 personal submissions by parents from across Goa converged on the Director of Education office today to submit their objections to the proposed academic year schedule. This massive response comes after a frantic two-day mobilization effort, with parents collecting at various locations to ensure their voices are heard.
The objections, submitted in large numbers before the 5 pm deadline, demonstrate the widespread discontent among parents regarding the sudden changes to the academic calendar. The Director of Education office was inundated with submissions, with officials working to acknowledge and record each objection.
Parents have made it clear that they will not be silenced, and their concerns will not be ignored. By submitting their objections en masse, they aim to ensure that the government acknowledges their grievances and reconsiders the proposed schedule.
