Panaji: All India Congress Committee Goa state election incharge P C Chidambaram is likely to arrive in the coastal state on August 25-26.
Party sources said that the final confirmation about his two day visit is yet to be received but “tentatively his tour to Goa on August 25-26 has been confirmed.”
This would be his first visit after assuming charge as election incharge for the state to decide strategy in the wake of upcoming State Legislative Assembly election.
Chidambaram would be holding series of meetings with the party office bearers during his visit. It is not clear whether he would also meet like-minded parties to give a thought on pre poll alliance.
