Anjuna Police have arrested one accused person for demanding sexual favours from his female freind.
As per SDPO Mapusa Jivba Dalvi a complaint was received from one lady residing at Anjuna complaining that she has received her objectionable photographs from
Different Instagram Ids and further the said ID holder was asking more sexual favours and threatening her with dire consequences if she did not accept his demands.
A team was formed under SDPO Mapusa Jivba Dalvi who raided the house of suspect and seized the laptop and mobile and it was confirmed that the accused was an old freind of the complainant.
Anjuna police arrested the accused under sections 354- A, C , D, 509, 506(ii) IPC.
The accused has been identified as Mr. Kunal Mayekar, age 21 yrs R/o Mapusa Bardez Goa and 04 days remand has been granted by the Honble Court.
Further investigation is in progress under the supervision of SP North Nidhin Valsan, SDPO Mapusa Dalvi and PI Prashal Dessai.
