Margao – Ramrajya is Administration for well being of all & giving helping hand to the needy. Sadly, even on the auspicious Shree Ram Temple Bhumipujan day, the BJP Government led by Dr. Pramod Sawant continued with their deeds of Rawanrajya by torchuring people with financial burden and worst healthcare charged GPCC president Girish Chodankar.
It was expected that the Chief Minister will accept the appeal made by Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat yesterday and announce a financial package to all those who suffered in Covid pandemic and transfer funds in all the social welfare schemes beneficiaries accounts to mark the auspicious occasion of laying of foundation stone of Shree Ram temple at Ayodhya and make a new begining of bringing in Ramrajya in the State claimed Girish Chodankar.
However, the BJP Government opted for keeping everyone in tears and mental stress while the Prime Minister Narendra Modi was laying the foundation stone of the temple. Dr. Pramod Sawant missed an opportunity to bring smile on the faces of people in Goa. The people will never pardon him and his party for the hardships faced by them even on the auspicious day.
The marginalised sector like motor cycle pilots, flower vendors, bar and tavern owners, rickshaw and taxi operators, khajekars, mechanics, artists, journalists and others are suffering with loss of business and jobs. The widows, senior citizens, mamata scheme, laadli laxmi scheme and seafarers beneficiaries are all made to suffer with government not releasing their monthly pensions. Every household is affected with huge electricity bills. Ironically, the BJP party is in celebration mode taking political mileage.
The BJP should do self introspection and change its course of action. They should take a pledge for making Goa corruption, drug and prostitution and casino & gambling free, stop political imports and run the government by adpoting to strictest austerity measures. But, i am fully aware that this will not happen as the BJP is completely infected now with ideologies of Rawan and use Shree Ram only as mask to cover their misdeeds.
