Panaji: Nehru Yuva Kendra Panaji will celebrate its Golden Jubilee year on November 13, 2022.
Nehru Yuva Kendra Panaji was started in 14 November 1972 and it is completing 50 years in November this year.
The meeting for preparation of grand celebration on the occasion of 50 years completion was held in Panaji, which was chaired by the Deputy Director of NYKS Kalidas Ghatwal.
It was decided to organise a NYK’s Golden Jubilee celebration on the eve of November 14, 2022.
In order to make the event a grand success, the organising committee headed by District Youth Awardee Rajmohan Shetye besides various sub committees.
The organising committee has set a target to bring together around 500 youth across Goa who were associated with Nehru Yuva Kendra as volunteers, youth awardees, members of youth clubs etc for the event.
Addressing in the meeting, Dy Director of NYKS Kalidas Ghatwal said that he wants to bring together all the youth associated with organisation since its inception in Goa on golden jubilee celebration.
It was decided to hold debate on social issues, experience sharing of youth leaders, cultural program and felicitation at the event.
Next meeting for preparation of golden jubilee celebration will be held on September 9, 2022 at 4.30pm at Sahitya Sevak Mandal, Panaji.
