Panaji : In a media statement, NSUI President Ahraz Mulla on Monday May 31st demanded that the children of Covid Warriors i.e. Police, Doctors, Health workers who have lost their lives in the pandemic must be given free education regardless of being an orphan or not.
The prime minister of India PM Modi on Sunday announced a number of welfare schemes for orphans only, “but NSUI demands the same schemes must apply to the kin of the covid warriors regardless of them being orphans or not” said Mulla.
The NSUI also recommended that a Government job must be provided in the family of the person who has lost his life being a covid warrior, “these warriors are helping us in these difficult times of pandemic and giving them and their families utmost respect has to be the priority of the government” added Mulla.
“The children are the future of the country and helping them while their parents have given their lives to save us and our families must be the priority” concluded Mulla.
