Parye: One day workshop on First aid and life saving skills in association with GVK EMRI was held for the NSQF students of ShriBhumika Higher Secondary School Parye on 17/7/22.
The resource team consisted of Mr.Satish Kumar Kama-EMLC Head,Mr.ShrinivasDeshpande-ERC &Marketing Head,Mr.VinodJadhav-trainer,Ms. PoojaMohite-trainer,Mrs.ChaitaliGawas- trainer and Mr.PravinSirsat. During the session students were briefed about various health emergencies like heart attack,,seizures,strokes,bleeding and cuts,snake bites,heatstroke ,injuries in fall,amputations ,accidents,drowning etc.
Students were trained in life saving procedures like Cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in adults and infants,Heimlich maneuver for chocking,various bandaging and splinting techniques in case of injuries and fractures. Students got the opportunity to perform practical under the guidance of the expert team.
Certificates were awarded to students on successful completion of the workshop
Principal Shri Yeshwant Sawant in his address congratulated the students for participating in this workshop and advised to use various techniques learnt for the benefit of the community.
Registration of ABHA CARD (Ayushman Bharat Health account)under Ministry of Health was also done on the occasion. NSQF instructors Dr. Akshata S Madkaikar coordinated the event, while Mr.Prajay proposed the vote of thanks. Total 80 students took the benefit of the workshop.
