Panaji: In yet another breakthrough, the South Goa tourist taxi operators today withdrew their strike by resuming their operations.
The strike was called off after a meeting with Chief Minister Pramod Sawant.
Congress MLA Alexio Reginaldo Lourenco led taxi operators delegation met Chief Minister this morning.
Speaking to media persons post meeting, Lourenco said that taxi operators will do everything to bring in transparency in the business.
He said that CM has also agreed to protect the interest of local taxi operators.
On Wednesday, 900 odd yellow and black taxi operators had withdrawn strike, which is going on since last weekend.
