Panaji: Goa chief minister Pramod Sawant on Tuesday said that none of his cabinet colleagues were involved in any kind of illegalities.
Sawant was responding to the allegation made by former Goa Pradesh Congress Committee President Girish Chodankar accusing “one of the minister in current cabinet” of being involved in land grabbing. Goa government has formed the Special Investigation Team to probe into the cases of land grabbing.
“Chodankar should stop making unnecessary allegations against the ministers in my cabinet. He claiming to have some affidavit. Let him submit it to SIT, the officials will conduct inquiry in it,” the chief minister said.
Sawant said that “none of the minister in my cabinet is involved in any kind of illegality.” “I have full faith in my ministers,” he said.
The chief minister said that the SIT is investigating the cases will full transparency.
