Calangute: Police have successfully conducted a narcotic raid and arrested one Mr. Mohammed Samir Alam age 43 yrs, N/o 11, Mistri pada Lane, Kolkata, West Bengal on 25/06/2018.
As per PI Jivba Dalvi reliable information was received about the accused person coming to sell drugs at Shanti Bar, Maddowado, Calangute during midnight.
Accordingly a team was formed and directed to conduct a raid.
Further when the accused person came at the place to sell drugs he was immediately rounded up and his personal search was carried out. During the search narcotic drugs namely Ganja weighing 160 gms worth 16,000 -/ were seized from his possession.
Police immediately placed the accused person under arrest. Raid was conducted during early the midnight from 11:30 pm of 24/06/2018 to 01:30 am of 25/06/2018.
Calangute police have registered an offence under section 20(b)(ii)(A) of NDPS Act, 1985.
During raid along with PI JIVBA Dalvi PSI Mahesh Naik , police constable Dinesh Morajkar, Govind Shirodkar, Vallabh Pednekar and others were present
