Margao: The shareholders of Madgaum Urban Cooperative Bank on Sunday resolved to file Complaints against the Board of Director for criminal liability with regards to the bank.
The shareholders met in Margao on Sunday and adopted various resolutions including decision to seek list of defaulters along with all details as requested in the AGM on December 26, 2020. The list has to be provided within ten days.
The shareholders resolved that if the said list is not provided in ten days, then they will gherao the directors at their residences or work to force them to resolve the crisis.
“Provide list of movable properties, immovable and collateral securities and liquid cash with the bank as on date,” the resolution read.
The shareholders also resolved to reduce the staff strength by adopting various measures and also close down premises where they are operating on rental basis.
“Lockers’ issue should be resolved and all locker holders or their families should be provided the contents by adopting easy legal procedures,” the resolution adds.
