Panaji: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Sunday assured mining dependents not to worry as the iron ore industry will start soon.
Sawant was speaking during a football tournament organized by mining firm Vedanta.
In a press note released by Vedanta, Chief Minister has been quoted stating not to worry about mining as it will be soon started.
“Mining will soon begin in the state and people shouldn’t worry about it anymore,” Sawant is quoted.
For the first time, India’s Top 4 Football Academies -Tata, Reliance, JSW and SESA Competed with each other in this Vedanta Youth Cup, Goa 2019. Reliance Foundation Youth Champs, who edged out Bangalore FC by 2-1 margin, were winners.
“Vedanta Group is supporting football for boys and girls in the state of Goa. The Vedanta Group is doing a tremendous job in promoting football in the state. They are giving opportunities to the youth of the state of play the sports and I am sure these youth will someday play in the National football cup,” Chief Minister said.
