Sanvordem: Sanvordem Sarpanch Sandip Pauskar said that the mining industry has been facing lockdown for last eight years, and now it is time for the governments to resume the iron ore mining activity to revive the economy.
Pauskar said that the people after living in 40 day long lockdown has realized how difficult it is to survive without income.
“Last eight years , we have been approaching various forums to ensure that the mining industry resumes. We were being mocked and criticized at that time. Under COVID-19 circumstances, it is only mining industry that can revive the economy,” he said.
