Panaji: Even as rumours were rife that some of the Congress MLAs will resign on September 9, Leader of Opposition Michael Lobo along with his wife and MLA Delilah Lobo on Tuesday left for Vailankanni.
There was no formal confirmation to the news about Congress MLAs resigning from the party to join BJP. The fresh rumours however claimed that they will do so.
Lobo who had recently returned from Delhi on Tuesday left for Vailankanni along with his entire family. He is expected to return back to Goa on September 09.
