Panaji: The ousted MGP general secretary Lavu Mamledar today said that State’s oldest regional political party is reeling under terror of Dhavalikar brothers- Sudin and Deepak.
Addressing a press conference, Mamledar said that Dhavalikar brothers have converted MGP founded by Bahusaheb Bandodkar into “Majo Gharcho Paksh”.
“There are many central committee members and workers who do not believe in Dhavalikar ideology. But fearing for life, they are forced not to raise their voice,” he said.
“There is a sort of terror of Dhavalikar brothers. Also, there are few on payment (pay roll) of Dhavalikar,” Mamledar said.
The leader said that Shiroda by election result will be end of Dhavalikar era in MGP. “I am working to ensure that MGP is free from Dhavalikar hold,” Mamledar said.
