One Mr. Deepak Suresh Redkar arrested by Mapusa Police for involving in raping Minor girl which had occurred in the Month of March 2023 .
That on 03.01.2024 Mother of victim girl R/o Bardez ,Goa lodged complaint that in the Month of March 2023 at , Bardez,Goa accused Deepak Redkar in order to fulfil his sexual lust forcefully raped Complainant’s Minor daughter aged 16 years by having sexual intercourse with her when victim had visited the house of accused .
This incident came to light when victim girl narrated this incident to school teacher councillor when she requested to keep her in boarding / hostel of school .
In this respect Mapusa Police Station immediately registered offence U/Sec 376 IPC , Sec 8(2) of Goa Children’s Act , Sec 4,6,8 ,12 of POCSO Act registered.
Further, as per instructions of Dy. SP Jivba Dalvi , PI Shitakant Nayak constituted teams with instructions to collect the intelligence in respect of accused involved.
Further, staff of Mapusa Police Station after thorough human and technical surveillance identified the Male and staff zero down Male at Mapusa , Bardez, Goa
Mr. Deepak Suresh Redkar , aged 48 years R/o Bardez, Goa N/o Porvorim was arrested on 03.01.2024.
Team of staff PSI Sunil Patil , PSI Viraj Korgaonkar , HC Sushant Chopdekar , Alvito D mello , PC Rajesh Kandolkar all of Mapusa Police Station .
Investigation is in progress under Supervision of PI Shitakant Nayak , DySP Jivba Dalvi , SP North Nidhin Valson.
