Panaji: Manipal Hospital Goa commemorated World Water Day with a meaningful beach cleanup drive at Caranzalem Beach, reinforcing the importance of clean water, sanitation, and environmental responsibility.
Hospital Director Surendra Prasad, along with staff members, actively participated in the initiative by collecting waste and spreading awareness on the need to protect water bodies from pollution. The drive aimed to highlight the direct link between clean surroundings and the prevention of waterborne diseases.
Speaking on the occasion, Surendra Prasad said that access to clean water is fundamental to good health. He added that through initiatives like this, they aim to create awareness about the importance of water conservation and maintaining hygiene in surroundings.
