Mumbai, August 13, 2025: Manipal Hospitals, one of the leading healthcare providers in India, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Maharashtra to build a state-of-the-art 350-bed multi-speciality hospital at Nagpur. This important partnership reflects the shared aim of improving healthcare infrastructure and access in the region.
The proposed hospital will entail an investment of nearly ₹700 crore and is expected to create about 3,000 new jobs. The MoU was signed in Mumbai, and the Government of Maharashtra has promised to facilitate all permits, approvals, and fiscal incentives necessary to complete the project in a time-bound manner. The hospital is expected to commence operations in 2029, marking a significant milestone in healthcare development and providing high-quality medical services to the people of Nagpur and surrounding areas.
