Vasco: The residents of Mangor Hill have threatened to resort to indefinite chain hunger strike from August 03 onwards, if their area is not delisted as containment zone.
MMC Councilor Saifulla Khan, representing the area, in a letter to Deputy Collector has demanded that Mangor Hill area be delisted as Containment Zone.
He has said that the grievance of residents of Mangor Hill was not taken up seriously and every time people of the locality are given false assurances since two months.
“It is therefore demanded the issue be redressed latest by Sunday, 02 August by making the area containment zone free with 100 per cent testing failing wich the people will be compelled to hold indefinite chain protest of hunger strike.
