Ponda: Seeking divine intervention in eradicating COVID-19, MGP has taken up initiative to chant Mahamrutyunjay Jap at various temples for next seven days.
MGP leader Sudin Dhavalikar participated in chanting of Jap at Vamaneshwar Temple, Dhavali, Ponda on Friday.
The belief is that the Jap eradicates all negative energies around us.
Various temple committees along with local sarpanch and panch members have agreed to participate in the Jap which will be held over next seven days.
One lakh Mahamrutyunjay Jap would be performed in each temple.
