Panaji: Trinamool Congress Party is likely to get a bigger jolt with its Goa chief Kiran Kandolkar and other leaders, who had contested the election on party symbol, planning to resign this week.
Sources stated that several leaders who had contested the recent Goa Legislative Assembly election on TMC symbol would be tendering their resignation en-mass this week.
This would be one of the biggest jolt to the TMC which was getting set to contest the panchayat election.
When contacted, Kiran Kandolkar said that he is still in TMC and would not like to comment anything about future.
Sources stated that ahead of the Panchayat election, the TMC leaders are facing wrath of their probable candidates, who are finding no traction on the ground level after their leaders’ attachment to TMC.
After resignation, Kavita Kandolkar had confirmed this fact claiming that the workers were requesting her to leave the party.
