Panaji: Minister for Art and Culture Govind Gaude today said that as proposed by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, the main auditorium of Kala Academy could be used for IFFI movie screening after undertaking minor renovation.
Gaude said that Chief Minister has said that for IFFI screening of movies, we can use the main auditorium, with minor works like painting, if required.
Speaking about the structural audit report of Kala Academy, Minister said that he is studying the report and that any decision on the structure will be taken only after consulting all the stakeholders.
Minister also ruled out possibility of demolishing the Kala Academy existing structure.
