  • Employment in EV Services: New employment opportunities for drivers and
conductors in electric vehicle (EV) services are under active consideration.
  • Operational Reforms for KTCL: Plans to digitize operations and improve efficiency,
as discussed in the last KTCL board meeting, are expected to increase revenue by
20%, following successful models from Maharashtra. Shri Mauvin Godinho has also
convinced the employees to support the transition to digital systems, ensuring
greater transparency and revenue growth. He emphasized the need for cooperation
between the employees and the government so that both parties can grow together.
  • Future Commitments: The minister assured that as KTCL’s revenue grows through
reforms and improved footfall, additional funds will be allocated for employee welfare.

Expressing his satisfaction with the outcome, Shri Mauvin Godinho emphasized, “I am happy that the employees have faith in the government and in the leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant. We are committed to resolving their concerns while ensuring the efficient functioning of Kadamba Transport Corporation.
