Panaji : The National Students’ Union of India, Goa has demanded an enquiry under the supervison of Supreme Court Judge in the alleged JEE paper leak.
President of NSUI Goa Naushad Chowdhari informed that “Central Bureau of Investigation has registered a case against a private institute on the allegations of committing fraud in the conducting JEE (MAIN) exam 2021”
The primary demand of the student organisation is to conduct an enquiry under supervision of a sitting Supreme Court judge as this is certainly a matter of future of young students and aspirants of the country.
NSUI Goa alleged that this issue if not resolved timely, will create restlessness and doubts among the student fraternity about the exam conducting bodies.
NSUI Goa alleges that it is only the Modi government who must be blamed for the paper leak and other irregularities in the competitive exams, as, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has recently been established in November 2017 which is further approved by the Union Council of Ministers in order to conduct entrance examinations for higher educational institutions.
“The question today is, if such examinations are not being able to be protected by this government how can the students trust other competitive exams to be safe and fair,” said Naushad.
Naushad has also demanded the resignation of the Education Minister on the moral grounds because as per NSUI that seems to be the only way right now to prove the intent and sensitivity of the Modi government towards student issues
