Sanquelim: JCI Sanquelim successfully organised its 20th Installation Ceremony on 17 January 2026 at Viheera Bistro Banquets, Khandola, Goa, marking a proud and significant milestone in the chapter’s journey of leadership and community service.
During the ceremony, JFM Asmita Shaba Gauns was formally installed as the President of JCI Sanquelim for the year 2026, amid great enthusiasm and fellowship.
The occasion was graced by the presence of Chief Guest Prashant Desai, businessman and social worker, along with distinguished dignitaries including Immediate Past Zone President, JCI India Zone 11 – JFD Shaba Gauns, and Zone Vice President – JFD Youvan Gawade.
The event witnessed the presence of several senior JCI leaders, past presidents, members, and dignitaries from JCI organisations across Goa and Maharashtra, reflecting the strong bonding and unity within the JCI fraternity. The installation of the new executive committee was carried out with due protocol, symbolising the continuity of leadership and commitment to the values of JCI.
In her acceptance address, President JFM Asmita Shaba Gauns expressed heartfelt gratitude to her mentors, members, and family, and shared her vision for the year, focusing on leadership development, youth empowerment, and impactful community projects. The dignitaries congratulated the newly installed president and team, and encouraged them to uphold the ideals of JCI while striving for excellence and meaningful societal contribution.
The ceremony concluded on a high note with networking, fellowship, and a renewed spirit to serve the community with dedication and integrity under the dynamic leadership of the new president.
