Panaji: Jayesh Salgaonkar will officially join BJP tomorrow at 4 pm.
State Party Unit President Sadanand Shet Tanavade told reporters that Salgaonkar will join BJP tomorrow at 4 pm. He said that Salgaonkar has not been assured the ticket.
Tanavade said that the party is confident that they will be able to convince the party cadres from Saligao, who are upset over induction of Jayesh in the party fold.
He said that the party will decide on the ticket in Saligao after conducting a survey of winnability. Tanavade said that Salgaonkar has not been assured the ticket to join the party.
