Panaji: St Andre MLA Francis Silveira criticized his own government while slamming Tribal Welfare Minister Govind Gaude claiming that he has been interfering in his constituency.
He said that the minister was interfering in St Andre constituency without taking him in to confidence in a Work which comes under WRD Dept.
“He should have contacted me before calling up the engineer, WRD is not his department” said Silveira
“Gaude called for an inspection under WRD at St Andre by calling Collector and Sarpanch but failed to call the local MLA” Silveira added.
“Even after taking the matter in his own hands Govind Gaude did not turn up for the inspection of the site which was destroyed by cyclone Tauktae in St Andre.” Silveira lamented. He went on to question that whether Gaude wants to contest election in St Andre constituency where Francis Silveira is the current MLA.
